Privacy Policy

When you build and confirm a custom wig order, we collect and store:

• Your wig configuration: length, cap size, cut, bangs, style, color tier, and price.
• Inspiration/reference photos you upload.
• Your full name, your typed signature, and a record of the policy text you agreed to, along with the date and time of that agreement.
• Order records, including an internal order ID and the stage your build reached (for example draft, ready for checkout, or paid).
• Information returned from Shopify after checkout, such as your Shopify order number, order total, email address, phone number if you provided one at checkout, payment and refund status, and tracking details when available.

We store a randomly generated session identifier in your browser's local storage so that returning to the builder in the same session updates your existing draft instead of creating duplicates. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and we do not collect your IP address or browser fingerprint for marketing purposes. Our hosting and database providers may log technical request information, such as IP address, as part of normal service operation and security.

We use this information to build, price, produce, ship, and support your custom wig order; to keep a record of the specifications and agreement you confirmed; to contact you about your order; and to manage orders internally through our private admin dashboard, which is restricted to authorized staff accounts.

Photos you upload are used to understand the look you want and to help us fulfill your requested wig design. Uploading a photo does not grant Babey Wig Bar a license to use your photos in marketing, advertising, or on social media. If we ever want to feature an image you sent us, we will ask you first.

Uploaded photos are stored with our hosting/storage provider using unpredictable file links so they are not listed or browsable publicly. Please do not upload anything you would not want shared with our production team.

We do not sell your information. We do share it with the service providers we need to run the business, including Shopify (checkout, payments, and order management), our payment providers, our hosting/database/storage provider, and our email provider. Each processes information for the purpose of providing that service. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Order, agreement, and configuration records are kept for as long as needed to fulfill the order and to meet business, accounting, and legal recordkeeping needs. We use access controls, authentication, and database security rules so that order data and the admin dashboard are only reachable by authorized staff accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim any specific compliance certification.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to ask for corrections, or to ask us to delete information we are not required to keep. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. Deleting order records may not be possible while an order is in production or where records must be kept for accounting purposes.
